Mister Rogers arrives with a piece of black pipe which he uses on the floor as a tunnel for a toy car and a small car. He sings Did You Know before Mr. McFeely arrives with a surprise video of the Speedy Delivery car being taken through a car wash. After watching the video, Mister Rogers takes the pipe to the backyard where a water table is set up in place of the sand table.

Having just returned from a trip, Maggie Stewart stops by to give Mister Rogers an orange. She sings and signs Everything Grows Together.

In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Cousin Mary Owl reads the scrap of paper she found to King Friday confirming that a secret tunnel once existed in the Neighborhood -- "Once upon a time, there was a secret tunnel in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, but…"

Lady Aberlin finds a similar scrap of paper in the castle's P Room. This one reads "...that tunnel got covered up by some..."

At the Museum-Go-Round, Mayor Maggie gives Lady Elaine an old book about oranges for the museum. Inside the book, they find another paper being used as a bookmark. The scrap reads "...roots of a great big tree." The message is now complete: "Once upon a time, there was a secret tunnel in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, but that tunnel got covered up by some roots of a great big tree."

Back at the house, Mister Rogers shares a book called A Walk with Abuela.

As Mister Rogers sends the the car and block back and forth through the piece of pipe, I'm Going Away plays in the background. I Hope It Will Rain plays when Mr. McFeely compares the rinse in the carwash to rain. We Are Elephants plays while Mister Rogers reads about pretending to be elephants. Peace and Quiet plays as Mister Rogers finishes the book.

The carwash visited by Mr. McFeely is Pittsburgh's Auto Bath House.
