Episode 1078 Air Date: February 18, 1970 Mister Rogers arrives with a toy version of a baby grand piano. Opening the lid, he shows the inside of the piano and how the hammers and strings make sounds. Taking the toy piano to the real one in his house, Mister Rogers plays both at the same time. Making a phone call to Johnny Costa, Mister Rogers invites he and his grandson, John John, to stop by for a visit. As he waits for them to arrive, Mister Rogers sits at the piano and plays When a Baby Comes to Your House. Mr. Costa arrives with his grandson. After a few minutes of playing with the toy piano, they move to the real piano where Mr. Costa plays while Mister Rogers sings When a Baby Comes to Your House. Taking Mr. Costa and his grandson to the trolley tracks, Mister Rogers brings out the trolley for the younger Costa to see. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, the Costas are greeted by King Friday who has a lot of questions about John John. Lady Aberlin brings in the toy baby grand piano. John John plays the piano and King Friday departs to call Queen Sara who is still in Westwood. Walking through the Neighborhood, Mr. Costa introduces his grandson to X, Henrietta, and Daniel. Back at the house, John Costa Jr. stops by to pick up his son. NotesFor the second episode in a row, Mister Rogers shows a young visitor the trolley tracks. This time, however, Johnny Costa is there and demonstrates the trolley's whistle on camera. John John's visit to the Neighborhood is referenced in Episode 1249 when he returns with his grandfather for another visit. Appearing In This Episode
