Misterogers (CBC, 12/18/1963)

Network: Canadian Broadcasting Corporation
Air Date: December 18, 1963

Mister Rogers shares pictures of various types of chairs, the last of which is a rocking chair that reminds him of Cornflake S. Pecially.

In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Donna Miller is singing What Would You Like To Do Today. At the Rockit factory, she finds that Corney has completed his work on a rocking throne for King Friday XIII. They meet at the castle to present the throne to the king who is genuinely appreciative of the gesture.

In thanks, King Friday shares a picture book from his royal library -- Princess Ella. Donna Miller sings while sharing the illustrations from the book.

Notes

After Donna Miller covers the rocking throne with a scarf for a special unveiling, Corney humorously refers to it as an "unraveling."

Following the story, King Friday mentions that Princess Ella is "one of [his] ancestors."
