ATAS Tribute to Fred RogersDate: 2003 The ATAS Tribute to Fred Rogers was an event held and recorded in December of 2003 by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences following the death of Fred Rogers. A variety of speakers paid tribute to Mister Rogers in over two hours of stories, memories, and performances. Among the speakers at this event were David Newell, Lily Tomlin, Bradley Whitford, Jane Kaczmarek, Anne Sweeney, LeVar Burton, Donna Mitroff, Beth Sullivan, Bill Isler, Nancy Steingard, Dick Askin, and Joanne Rogers. Pre-recorded tributes were shared featuring Kevin Clash, Katie Couric, Pat Mitchell, Laura Bush, Marian Wright Edelman, Charles Osgood, and Linda Ellerbee. Several popular Neighborhood songs were performed by Tyne Daly, Jean Louisa Kelly, John Schneider, and Scott Bakula. The event was hosted by David Hartman. Images
