Officer Clemmons / Francois ClemmonsFirst MRN Appearance: 0119 In the real neighborhood, Francois Clemmons is the owner and opreator of the Neighborhood dance/performance studio which is located next door to Mister Rogers' house. Francois Clemmons is married to Mrs. Clemmons. A talented peformer in his own right, Mr. Clemmons regularly hosts artists in his studio where Mister Rogers often visits. Eventually, Mr. Clemmons' talents lead him to the opportunity of conducting the Harlem Spiritual Ensemble.[1] Along with his responsibilities at the Neighborhood studio, Mr. Clemmons spent a great deal of time serving as Officer Clemmons -- the Neighborhood police officer from Police Station No 4.[2] When the royal waterfall was installed at the castle, Officer Clemmons where there to serve as the fountain singer.[3] Mr. Clemmons ultimately left his position with the police department in order to join the Metropolitan Opera Studio.[4] In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Mr. Clemmons primarily serves as a police officer but regularly finds time to contribute to the many Neighborhood plays and operas. He once served as a professor for the Owl Correspondence School teaching a class in Early American Owl History.[5] Images
