Misterogers (CBC, 3/4/1964)

Network: Canadian Broadcasting Corporation
Air Date: March 4, 1964

Mister Rogers has a large sock which he uses to create a puppet. He talks about how some puppets are simple and others are fancy. Taking out a more detailed parrot puppet, Mister Rogers has it say hello to Paul Parrot before singing Afternoon.

In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Nurse Miller borrows a wolf puppet from the museum and sings part of Afternoon while she waits for it to be retrieved by Mrs. Frogg. Nurse Miller takes the puppet to the oak tree because she remembers that X the Owl once mentioned that he'd like to meet a wolf. Grateful that she remembered this, X sings I Give a Hoot For You before joining Nurse Miller singing Find a Star.

At the Frogg pond, Tadpole Frogg is initially starteled by the wolf puppet and Nurse Miller encourages him to be kind and gentle with the furry "wolf."

Back at the house, Mister Rogers puts a nurse cap on the sock puppet and concludes by singing Tomorrow.
