Early in 2019, the American Red Cross used a clip from Fred Rogers' interview with the Archive of American Television -- his well-known "look for the helpers" quote -- in a television spot encouraging the support of viewers.

"My mother used to say, a long time ago, whenever there would be any catastrophe that was on the air, she would say, 'Always look for the helpers. Because if you look for the helpers, you'll know that there's hope.'"
