Sesame Street Presents: Follow That Bird

The 1985 Sesame Street movie Follow That Bird includes a brief reference to Mister Rogers' Neighborhood.

Early in the film, a scene in Mr. Hooper's store shows Telly and Bob cleaning in the back. Meanwhile, Grover is working while Linda and Susan sit at the counter. A television set is tuned into a local newscast where an anchor (played by Chevy Chase) is delivering the news:

"Now to weather...It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood. A beautiful day for a neighbor. Would you be mine?"

These words, of course, come from the song Won't You Be My Neighbor.
