Description

Song and Dance

There are many unique ways of making music. Mister Rogers visits his neighbor Tom O'Horgan, who collects fascinating and unusual musical instruments from all over the world. Together they enjoy the unique sounds and appreciate how each instrument has its own special voice, just like people do.

In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe the day of the bass-violin fesitval has arrived -- but nobody knows where it's taking place. Once they discover the location of the fest, the neighbors each find a creative way to participate, even though nobody plays the bass-violin the way King Friday does! Daniel Tiger, who thought he was coming only to watch and listen, finds that he has something to contribute as well.

Music is a way to express all sorts of feelings. And there are many ways for everyone to share in the joy of music.

This episode of MISTER ROGERS' NEIGHBORHOOD features:

  • A helpful song for times of waiting
  • Unusual musical sounds you've never heard before
  • Song and dance by all the neighbors of Make-Believe
