In the days leading to the passing of Friday's Comet, Trumpeter Adkins played his trumpet and sang in an unsuccessful attempt to speed up the comet's arrival.[1]

Following the passing of Friday's Comet, Trumpeter Adkins performed the role of Other Half-Moon in the Neighborhood opera, A Star For Kitty.[2]
