Old Goat

Old Goat lives in Northwood and is an occasional visitor to the Neighborhood of Make-Believe.

After appearing briefly in A Grandad for Daniel[1], Old Goat made his presence known when he helped himself to the vegetables growing in X the Owl's garden.[2] Eventually he informed everyone in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe that Northwood had no food and they agreed to start an all-out effort to help their friends to the North.[3]

Old Goat has an artistic side and chose to recite a poem as part of the Bass Violin Festival.[4]

When the garbage crisis took place at Someplace Else, it was Old Goat (along with New Goat and Sue Goat) who were responsible for initiating the recycling efforts which would eventually reduce the amount of waste.[5]

Old Goat once accepted a position as elevator operator at the Museum-Go-Round when the museum.[6]
