Miss Audrey Paulificate

Although unseen on camera during the early years of the Neighborhood, Miss Paulificate serves as the telephone operator in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. Additionally, she often finds herself fulfilling the orders of King Friday as he needs various tasks completed.

When she is not attending to the telephone, Miss Paulificate frequently serves in security roles around the Neighborhood guarding against a potential bomb threat,^[1523] protecting others from the "big thing",^[1633] and helping to uphold a ban on yo-yos.^[1732]

Miss Paulificate played an important role in the MGR-TV flea market by organizing the volunteers for the event.^[1435]

When she is not hard at work, Miss Paulificate enjoys dancing around the Neighborhood.^[1546]

Miss Paulificate's Name

Miss Paulificate was named after the children of a friend of Fred Rogers -- Paul, Iffy (a nickname for Elizabeth), and (Cate). Miss Paulificate's first name is mentioned a few times throughout the run of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood including Episode 1644.
