Target

In the spring of 2013, Target Canada released a commercial featuring a catchy cover of Mister Rogers' Won't You Be My Neighbor.

The ad was first broadcast in February of 2013 and was met with initial displeasure on the part of many long-time Neighborhood viewers as they felt Fred Rogers would have disagreed with the use of his work for corporate commercial purposes.[1]

Via Twitter, Target offered a free audio download of the song performed by the Canadian pop band Dragonette.

Although removed from YouTube, as of the time of this writing, the commerical can still be viewed in its entirety on adforum.com.
