Daniel Striped Tiger Finger Puppet

Date: 1988
Manufacturer: Plush Creations Inc. / Family Communications

A Note From Fred Rogers

A puppet on a child's hand often says what that child is thinking ... and feeling! Whatever the puppets may look like, children bring their own life story to let the puppets act it out. Our privilege as adults is to be able to listen to those stories ... those thoughts and feelings ... when we're invited, and to find new respect for and delight in the creative work of childhood.

Notes

This finger puppet appears in Episode 1701 when Mister Rogers finds it under a couch cushion while cleaning.

Finger puppets of similar size were also made of X the Owl and Henrietta Pussycat.
