Daniel Learns About Lizards

Episode 325
Title Daniel Learns About Lizards
Daniel Wonders About Trolley
Air Date July 10, 2018

Daniel Tiger and Prince Wednesday have found a green lizard in the yard. They name the lizard Nellie and watch as she scurries through the grass. Recognizing that Daniel and Wednesday's interest in the lizard, Mom Tiger encourages them to learn more: "When you wonder, you can try to find out more."

Using a magnifying glass, Daniel and Wednesday take a closer look at the lizard. Daniel make-believes that he has sticky feet like Nellie.

Daniel and Wednesday wonder what lizards eat -- maybe leaves, or sandwiches, or pizza? They ask Mom Tiger who informs them that lizards sometimes eat berries. They place some fresh strawberries on the ground and wonder about where lizards live while they wait for her to discover the berries. Looking in a book about lizards, Daniel and Wednesday learn about camoflauge and find Nellie blending in with the trunk of a tree.
