When Daniel locates the birds, he discovers that they are building a nest. He does his best to help find pieces they might be able to use. As he looks, he discovers and ant hill and make-believes that he is exploring the ant world underground.

Katerina and Henrietta stop by on their way to the bakery and invite Daniel to join them. When he says he'd rather continue exploring, Katerina decides to join him instead.
