THE NEIGHBORHOOD ARCHIVE - All Things Mister Rogers

Daniel's Friends Say No

Episode 206
Title Daniel's Friends Say No
Prince Wednesday Doesn't Want to Play
Air Date November 17, 2014

Daniel Tiger is pretending to be a kangaroo as he is dropped off at school by his family. Excited to continue playing, he asks Miss Elaina to join him but she would rather continue reading and declines.

Teacher Harriet recognizes that Daniel is feeling sad and encourages him to find something else to do instead -- even if Miss Elaina would rather not play along. Since Miss Elaina is reading a book about dump trucks, Daniel decides to draw a picture of a dump truck before make-believing that he is a driving a real dump truck.

When Daniel asks if O the Owl would like to play dump truck with him, O is busy looking at rocks by himself. Daniel is disappointed, but remembers that he can find something else to do. He decides to deliver items in his truck to his friends and he is soon joined by Katerina Kittycat.
