Purple Panda's favorite superhero, Super Porcupine, is coming to Someplace Else and Panda has made him a special present -- a Super Porcupine puppet. When Panda gets in line to meet his hero, he cannot find the present and does not want to lose his place in line. Donkey Hodie agrees to help him find the puppet.

Pretending to be Purple Panda, Donkey follows in his footsteps to locate the lost puppet. Along the way, she has to make choices based on those she thinks her friend Panda would make. It isn't long before Donkey finds the Super Porcupine puppet and delivers it to Panda just in time for him to give it to his superhero hero.

When he realizes that he has lost the puppet, Purple Panda contact Donkey Hodie by calling her on a tin can telephone -- reminiscent of the telecan used throughout the run of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood.
