Donkey Hodie find Purple Panda holding a purple box containing his pickle pets -- pickles that he imagines to look like animals. The Pickle Penguin is accidentally dropped between a group of large rocks and cannot be reached. Purple Panda attempts to retrieve the Pickle Penguin with a fishing line but comes up with only a pine cone. Donkey does her best to make the effort fun by offering the pine cone as a prize -- a Pine Cone Pet!

After fishing out a old sneaker, Purple Panda is equally excited and is not becoming frustrated. Donkey Hodie suggests that the shoe could be a Pine Cone Pet bed.

When the fishing line breaks, Donkey makes up a new game when Purple Panda is reminded of a time his father dropped his favorite bowtie down the drain and retrieved it with a plunger. Using a plunger, Purple Panda comes up with a small rock -- a Pebble Porcupine -- and a can -- a Pebble Pet spaceship.

The plunger breaks as well and Donkey suggests that it would take a superhero to save the Pickle Penguin. Purple Panda is reminded of his super hero spoon -- a wooden spoon decorated with a cape and mask. Using the spoon, Purple Panda plays a new game -- Super Scooper -- and is able to retrieve the Pickle Penguin!
