THE NEIGHBORHOOD ARCHIVE - All Things Mister Rogers

895: A Neighborhood Archive Milestone

It was December of 2008 when I decided to start the humble Mister Rogers blog that would eventually evolve into this Neighborhood Archive site. Obviously, in covering "all things Mister Rogers," the main place to focus my initial efforts was the Neighborhood episodes themselves.

But there were 895 of them.

895.

I knew this was going to take some time.

Nine years later, after countless early morning and late evening hours spent dissecting the Neighborhood, this hobby of mine has reached a major milestone. In addition to the many other areas to browse on the Archive site, I'm proud to say that every single episode from the national run of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood is now accounted for on this site!

All 895!

But worry not. I'm far from done. There's still plenty in store for the Neighborhood Archive in 2018 as we celebrate Mister Rogers' Neighborhood's 50th anniversary.

For now, though, I'll be taking a well-deserved and long-overdue break and spending the rest of 2017 celebrating the holidays and relaxing with my family and friends.

Happy holidays, neighbors! I hope to see you here at the Neighborhood Archive in 2018!

P.S. Considering the crazy amount of time that has been spent on this portion of the site, this milestone is a pretty big deal! I'd really appreciate it if you'd take a moment to tweet and like and post and share this announcement via your preferred social media sites! This is a great opportunity to spread the word about the Neighborhood Archive!
